Having come up on the train to this year's Making Tracks at Blakemere with the train getting me to Hartford, I knew there was a possibility of catching the 90s north of Crewe Basford Hall on a Saturday, where the traction may be different either side of Crewe. Last week, it was 90042 and 90008 which were the chosen Skodas to hail MALCOLM. I inadvertently managed to miss videoing them passing, but made up for it this week.
Unfortunately, the day caught up with me when I got home, and I missed them passing through Stafford, but I will be catching them tomorrow (Sunday) on 4S49, so we should be able to confirm whether or not 90041 and 90007 - not 008 - thank you @stuartharris2165 for the heads up with that.
This pair appear to have been rotated in on Friday as they hauled 4S47 through Stafford on Friday evening, which lends me to thinking that Friday is now traction swap day, not Saturday, as was the case last week also.
