Submission information
Submit a 4 to 15 minute edited video showing any of the following:
DIY project step by step
Home building or renovation project showing all key details during the process
Home maintenance tips
Tools use, testing or selection tips
Landscaping project step by step
Cooking tips, kitchen ideas or recipes
Organization ideas and processes
Any other home or lifestyle content you think would be great on the channel

General Guidelines
Please adhere to the following:
Follow all needed safety guidelines
Include before and after shots in the video (if applicable)
List/show any needed products and/or tools
Videos need to be finished and ready for upload to YouTube

Videos will be rejected if they include:
Unsafe work practices or dangerous situations
Music of any kind, either recorded during the production or added during edit
Promotional content for a business or product.
Please list tools and products that you use, but don't make it a commercial.


Once you have submitted a video
All videos will be reviewed by the Your New House production team (the YNH Team from here forward).
The YNH Team will choose finalists
Videos from the chosen finalists will be uploaded and made available to the public on the Your New House YouTube channel
Videos will be available on YouTube for a minimum of 3 months, before the new host is chosen
One winner (or more) will be chosen based on; viewer feedback, YNH team review and a phone interview by the YNH Senior Producer

The chosen winner, will receive:
A contract/agreement to provide content for Your New House
Compensation of 50% of all ad revenue from any platform where their content is posted by the YNH team, while under their contract/agreement*
Exposure on the YNH channel and any other distribution platform chosen by the YNH team
Help from the YNH team choosing topics, crafting segments, improving on-camera delivery and refinement of edits and videography

That winner's agreement will include the creation of content that will be exclusive to Your New House. This does not affect the winner's ability to create content for other outlets.

Topics, content and final edits will be coordinated with and approved by the YNH team.

Revenue will be paid quarterly with an accounting of views and revenue generated

No product placement or trade-outs will be allowed without YNH approval.

The agreement can be terminated at any time by either party, but videos will remain online as long as desired by the YNH team.**

*The winner will receive 50% of all ad revenue. This remains in effect as long as the winner maintains a minimum average of 1 video per month (averaged over each calendar year). If the average falls below 1 per month for a calendar year, the agreement could be terminated at the discretion of the YNH team. If the agreement is terminated, the winner will continue to receive the ad revenue split on all their videos for a minimum of 1 year, dated from the upload of their final video.

** Videos will remain on all YNH channels and outlets as long as the YNH team chooses to retain them, but can be removed at the discretion of the YNH team at any time.

Your New House can terminate the selection process at the producer's discretion.
