I wanted to see my fellow Ohioan play in the flesh, and this match absolutely rocked. Both dudes, aside from a few lulls, were serving very well and playing smart, high-quality tennis.
Rodionov is gritty, consistent, and uses his lefty serve well. J.J. is explosively athletic and is always looking to move forward behind a strong forehand and a killer 1st serve. It was a wonderfully pleasing matchup and I was fortunate to catch it.
