The speaker switch box is a simple project that makes it very quick and easy to plug a combo amplifier into any external speaker without having to disconnect the on board speaker. This greatly increases the range of tones you can get from a single amp.
You may discover a little combo that doesn’t quite cut it for gigging, turns out to be loud enough after all when it’s plugged into speakers with greater efficiency than the on board speaker.
It’s also an incredibly useful feature in recording studios and there’s even a neat little safety device to protect your amp.
