In this travel vlog we will cover the most popular tourist spot in East Sikkim i.e Nathula Pass, Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir and Changu lake ( Lake Tsomgo ).

We witnessed a lot of tourists at Changu lake, Baba Harbajan Singh Mandir and Nathula Pass.

Nathula Pass

An amazing experience to visit the Nathu La pass and the Indo China border. At a height of 14,000 feet, it is located about 3 hours away from Gangtok city. The drive was beautiful and scenic, and road conditions fairly good.

It was an overwhelming and emotional moment to see the Indian army manning the border and definitely made us really proud!
Weather conditions can get unpredictable at that altitude and it's better to be prepared for rain and snow!

Baba Harbajan Singh Mandir

Captain "Baba" Harbhajan Singh was an Indian Army soldier soldier who died near the Nathula Pass, Sikkim. He has been accorded the status of saint by believers who refer to him as the Baba. Many believe his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.

somgo Lake

Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changgu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometres from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 12,313 ft, the lake remains frozen during the winter season.
