Sander Sanchez, half Native American, had his breakthrough at Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2020 with Screens, finishing in an impressive 2nd place. Known for his energetic stage presence and strong vocals, Sander is performing on the Pride stage for the fifth year in a row. His latest single STAR is a dreamy mix of house, pop, and cosmic love.
Sander is a Copenhagen-based singer/songwriter whose music combines the glamourous excess of classic 80’s pop with the scale and power of modern EDM.
This special performance was part of 2-Spirit Rising, a show honoring the truth colonization could not erase: 2-Spirit people, recognized in many Indigenous cultures as healers, mediators, and knowledge keepers. The concert featured Sander Sanchez and Sikki (Inuk), celebrating bold self-expression, cultural power, and joyful defiance.
