Let me tell you a story or, more accurately, let me suggest how you can create a story with your photographs out in the landscape and particularly at a beach. Landscape photography is complicated enough but beaches are even more complicated. These environments, for many photographers, can be overwhelming with so many potential compositions, so many choices and an ever-changing environment as the tide ebbs and flows. In this video, I offer a technique which can help to make sense of a beach and create your own story.
