Lightburn 1.5.00 Update | OMTech Polar 2024

Lightburn is making an update on their upcoming 1.5.00 release that allows the user to enter the material thickness and the laser nozzle will automatically set the focal distance based on the number entered. Yes, this will work with upgraded laser nozzles as well. Pay attention the video as it shows how to adjust the settings for this.

UPDATE: American photonics states the Offset value of their lens is 3mm, but I mistakenly spoke about the Fiore nozzle offset. Per Andy Fiore the offset value should be .5mm if you use a loose lens in his setup or 1.5mm offset if you use the AP magnetic lens
