Saving the Negros Bleeding Heart Documentary

Found only on two Philippine islands, the elusive Negros Bleeding-heart Pigeon comes close to extinction after decades of deforestation. But conservationists from Talarak Foundation are working to bring this iconic species back to re-wild the last remaining forest patches of Negros.

With the funding and expertise from Toledo Zoo, the release program for these birds are making waves in the progress towards saving the species.
