OUR WORST TOUR IN ARGENTINA!

In this video we spend our last day driving around Northern Argentina before heading back to Salta for our very final days in the beautiful country of Argentina. We woke up in the rustic and beautiful desert town of Tilcara which we fell in love with the previous day and decided to stop the night. From Tilcara we drove our hire car back up to some crazy altitude to get a close up look at Salinas Grandes which is the third largest salt flat in the world! This is the first time we’ve ever seen a salt flat in person and we got to drive on it too! It was an incredible experience on a perfect and beautiful day.

However as is often the case in this part of the world, it was quite difficult to figure out how to do everything and what is safe and what we were allowed to do, luckily we got ourselves there and back in one piece but the confusion when we arrived due to the lack of information did make things a little stressful at times. We hope by sharing this video with you all that it helps you to plan ahead of time so you can see what to expect, it’s worth it but just helps to know what to expect beforehand.

Thankfully after driving back down we began the long journey back to Salta with a planned stop off at a spa Termes De Reyes which definitely helped calm the nerves.

We have been lucky enough to spend many months exploring this huge country this year and we are really thankful to be able to see it and to share it all here with you all. We’re not finished yet though as we still have a few more Argentina videos to make.
