The NEW UK Module 1 Motorcycle test. This video was recorded before the changes, but the Module 1 Test has not changed since the new laws being introduced. The only change is size of motorbike. The different excercises may be in a different order. Hope this helps!

"You see the green cones over there. Can you go and park in one of the bays and turn you engine off."

Mirror and Shoulder Checks then Ride.

Neutral, Stand, Engine off.

"Can you wheel your bike backwards into the other space please."

Checks, one hand on handlebar and other on back. Wheel the bike slowly and keep checking.

Checks, side stand

"This is the slalom. Weave in and out of the white cones using slow speed control. Then please complete 2 figures of 8 when you reach the blue cones. Don't worry about counting, i will tell you when you have done them."

Engine, Side stand, Gear, Check, Drive.

+Big Circles are easier on the figure of 8.+

"If you'd like to come over here and stop please."

"Just turn round and face this way for the slow speed ride."

"Ride in a straight line using slow speed control as if you were in traffic. stop with your front wheel in the blue cones."

"This is the U turn, If you could turn the bike around as it it were a road please."

Check, gear, move, shoulder, turn. Be confident, its easier than you think.

"Now this is the controlled turn. go to top left hand corner and enter the turn in between the red and blue cones. follow the bend round and exit between the red and blue cones. Go between the speed trap and then a controlled stop with your front wheel inbetween the two cones."

"now this is the emergency stop. same again but when you go through the speed trap you need to be doing 50kph/33mph. When i raise my arm like this i want you to stop as if it was an emergency."

"now the hazard avoidance. same route, same speed but you need to swerve between the set of cones on the right."
