He was always on the ball in every position on the pitch, dictating play, similar to how Cruyff was, a couple of decades later.
The most devastating club player, Europe has seen. Wielding an earth shattering 5peat European Cup trophy run. And a 5peat goalscoring run in all those five final's. Factor in, eight la liga title wins in eleven seasons, & a plethora of goals.
Before him. Real Madrid had won no title since the 1930s. With him. They won everything! .
They became the greatest club side in the world. And still to this day. The biggest club team in the world.
It's no coincidence that Cruyff, Charlton, Kopa, Law, Best, & many more, cite him as the greatest they've seen.
He remains in my eyes. One of the T5 players to ever do it. Along with Pelé, Cruyff, Maradona, Messi.
