Off the bucket list, Yngwie Malmsteen. Been in so many gigs the expectations rise I guess. Pretty lame experience as a whole.

Edited the title from the original ”Crappy footage of Yngwie Malmsteen's crappy gig in Helsinki 4.7.2024” - a frustration of unfilled expectations towards the gig and the obvious low quality footage.
For me subjectively the worst gig for couple years. The venue, Böle Arena Helsinki, was not a good one. The atmosphere was similar to a school gymnastic hall or something, and the air itself felt bad. Even with so few people the air conditioning could not keep up, or something. This with addition of the gig starting half an hour late (for no apparent reason) made a bad start. VIP tickets that we bought basically included one free drink. Supposedly you were supposed to have also a good spot with it, but no, area was on the side and you would get better experience elsewhere. I think the band was failing, or maybe not even wanting, to connect with the audience. Maybe one of the biggest personal dislikes was that basically none of the songs were whole. Clips from this song and clips from that, something that possibly works for others but I did not appreciate the format.
