Residents in Port St Johns in the Eastern Cape are up in arms. They have reportedly looted building materials from the construction site of RDP houses. They claim the construction company building the houses has employed undocumented foreign nationals, some as young as 17 years old.
They also accuse the foreigners of using bank accounts of female villagers, in which to receive their salaries. The residents claim that the local ward councillor has allocated herself an RDP house.
