Visiting my Muslim parents-in-law and cooking duck curry from scratch in the village

Today we are visiting Mon's parents in a small village in Pattani, Thailand. Every time I'm here I feel like I'm in some kind of movie, and today I am!

Mon comes from a Muslim background and I from a Jewish, and this is just one of the many differences between us growing up.

Follow Mon as he shows the simple life in the village, cooking duck curry from scratch and me trying it out. And in addition we are having some really exciting conversations, for example about what his mom thinks of me!
