The 31st Annual SAG Awards will be hosted by Nobody Wants This star Kristen Bell, breaking its quasi-tradition of having no host (although the show has historically been done without a host, Bell herself broke the streak back in 2018, with Megan Mullally hosting the following year before it returned to its no-host tradition leading up to this year).
Streaming live (on Netflix!) from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the SAG Awards will honor the best performances in film and television last year. Nominees include stars like Timothée Chalamet, Pamela Anderson, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jamie Lee Curtis, Zoe Saldaña, Jonathan Bailey, Demi Moore, Eddie Redmayne, Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri, all tapped for their work across big and small screens.

Also during the evening, hosted by Kristen Bell, Jane Fonda will receive the SAG Life Achievement honor. This year's SAG Awards ambassadors are Netflix stars Sofia Carson and Noah Centineo.

The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards set to honor recipients across 15 solo performance and ensemble categories in both television and film, from Best Cast in a Motion Picture to Best Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series.
Each year, the SAG Awards are among the more emotional of award ceremonies, as actors vote for their peers across the big screen and the silver screen. At this year’s ceremony, the frontrunners have already been highly decorated throughout award season, with Anora, Conclave, Emilia Pérez, Wicked and A Complete Unknown earning nominations for Best Cast in a Motion Picture while its stars have earned individual nods.
Meanwhile, television frontrunners have come back into focus. Shogun, The Diplomat and Bridgerton are among the casts who have received nods in the drama categories while Shrinking, Abbott Elementary and The Bear earned their own spots in the comedy categories.
The nominees for the SAG Awards range from The Substance’s Demi Moore to Hack’s Jean Smart. The 31st annual ceremony is also where many actors who were snubbed from events like the Oscars and the Emmys. The Last Showgirl’s Pamela Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis, The Piano Lesson’s Danielle Deadwyler Queer’s Daniel Craig and Wicked’s Jonathan Bailey, though not recognized by The Academy for nods at the Oscars, did receive nods for their performances across their respective categories.
