ShopSmith Tools have been around for over 70 years and there are a lot of people who LOVE these tools for their quality, versatility, flexibility and their ability to advance your woodworking capabilities without taking up a ton of your space. While the company has been successful at times, they have also struggled and have gone out of business more than once in the past. This past September, they announced that they are ceasing operations and looking for a buyer. Is this the end of ShopSmith? Will they go out of business for good this time or will someone swoop in to save them?
