We start with Mahadev strolling in space with sati’s corpse. He is getting flashes of their marriage and the time they went through together. Shiv comes to Kailash and we show a burnt Palash tree and Mahadev looking at it. Mahadev observes with no feeling and after that, with a flicker, the streak vanishes uncovering the burnt Palash tree. Vishnu goes into the Amarnath cave where he gets flashes of seeing Sati for the first time, when she held the trident in her hand and when she tied rakhi on his hand. He breaks down and prays to adi parashakti. The wind twirls up and Devi shows up in her adi parashakti form.We see a fresh flash of adi parashakti explaining the importance of cremation. She also tells Vishnu that the shaktipeeths will have an important purpose in the upcoming future. Vishnu joins his hands and apologizes to Shiv and tells him that this was the only way to reconnect you to this world. Tarakasur is walking on burning pyre flames engulfing him all over. Diti asks him what he is doing in hell to which tarakasur replies that he is immortal now as Devi has gone and shiv has turned himself into a hermit. Diti is stressed and tells him if Mahadev has chosen to do reflection at that point Devi must've arranged something and will return in a diverse avatar. We set up the chapter of Parvati's birth.
