Garo Tavitjan is one of the most respected drummers of the Balkan region with an international career. His focus is on the irregular time signature rhythms as played in Macedonia/Balkan and incorporating them with modern music styles. He is a multi-award winning drummer, composer and producer. With his group (Tavitjan Brothers), he has appeared at the most eminent concert halls all over Europe, including the sold out concerts at Carnegie Hall and the Blue Note in New York. Garo has recorded more than 10 albums and appeared on more than 40.
