Vi and Caitlyn’s romance has drawn so much love from LGBT fans, and yet some feel the relationship could have progressed faster. While Jayce and Mel’s heterosexual relationship got a big dramatic love scene, Vi and Caitlyn got an extremely intimade bed scene, but one with minimal physical contact and affection. But looking at Vi and Cait’s character, the progression of their relationship arc, and (most importantly) the function of their relationship, this type of intimacy scene empty of all noise and grand displays of drama carries special meaning a kiss may have detracted from.
