My dad passed away November of 2024 after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. His diagnosis created the space for me to create my channel, while helping me cope with the fact that his mortality was coming to an end. My dad gave me so many great memories. Since this is still a sneaker based channel, I wanted to finally share the moment I became what you all know to identify as a sneaker head. A request to have the air jordan 11 for my 12th birthday became a lifetime love for the Nike uptempo and many more sneakers to come. My dad was a fighter and loved by many for his leadership and bigger than life presence. I will always cherish, love, miss and need my dad. My hero is no longer physically present, but he is with me in the spirit of everything I say and do…even down to the sneakers I wear and critique. Love live my father…my G-homie…my black superhero.🙏🏾
