Nepal Is Not Ready For What’s Coming

We are a country that is always at risk of disasters—earthquakes, floods, landslides, fires.
And the main issue isn’t prevention… because most of the time, it’s not even in our hands.
The real problem?
We have no preparations, and even the plans we do have aren’t nearly enough. No systems are in place for when disaster strikes.
When it happens again—and it will—we’ll face the same chaos, the same losses.

This video is produced in collaboration with YUWA (‪@YUWAchannel) under the Y-SPARCK Project, with support from Plan International Nepal (‪@PlanNepal). It is part of the #UniteForResilience campaign, a youth co-designed campaign that aims to raise awareness about climate change and encourage meaningful youth participation. Through this campaign, we aim to inspire young people and engage diverse stakeholders to collaborate on climate action and resilience.
