Sweden anti-vietnamwar song

During the Vietnam War against America, besides intimate socialist states that supported Vietnam heartfully, we also encountered one nation, which was inherently neutral, voiced its support for Vietnam repeatedly, and eventually cut its ties with America. That beautiful country, located in Northern Europe, is Sweden.

United National Liberation Front (De förenade FNL-grupperna/DFFG, as known as ‘NLF Groups’, or ‘NLF movement’) was a Swedish popular movement to mobilize support for the struggle of Vietnamese National Liberation Front (abbreviated ‘FNL’ in French).

DFFG became one of the most successful popular movements of Sweden in many later years, the organization was able to mobilize thousands of youth to protests, street sales of ‘Vietnambulletinen’ (publication of DFFG), leafletings, fund collections, etc.

In addition, DFFC produced a music album to reflect on the Vietnam War, which is called ‘Vietnam är nära’ (translated: Vietnam is close).
