A video featuring the first trial of an onboard camera mount slung from the boom and also the first time use of a home-made boom tent. Filmed in very calm conditions on my local lake.
The camera is now mounted on a GoPro wrist strap with a 360' roatating friction base. This allows me to point the camera sideays or backwards without having to fully detach it. It is also quick to take off and place on the mast for a crew's perspective.
