How to Plan Your Elder Care if You Don't Have Children or a Spouse

Many older women live alone and do not have the support of a husband, partner or child. These are 'elder orphans' that have no one to turn to for help. They ask "what is going to happen to me when I get old". A surprisingly high number of older women are in this situation and it can be a lonely and frightening time.

In this video, I share the insights of Carol Marak who has made it her mission in life to address this challenge and provide support, resources, and community for this growing community of older women without children or a support system as they get older. We talk about resources that are available now and the practical things she suggests an older woman on her own do to be independent and prepared.
