Caminhando pelas ruas de Ulm, cidade natal de Albert Einstein, às margens do rio Danúbio, com suas casas em enxaimel, sua portentosa igreja (Ulm Münster), a mais alta do mundo, ligada à estação ferroviária central (Ulm Hauptbahnhof) da cidade por uma animada rua de compras (Hirschstrasse), exclusiva para pedestres. Ulm não é uma grande metrópole alemã ou europeia. Mas apesar disto, é uma grandiosa, agitada e bela cidade deste nosso pequeno planeta azul.
Walking through the streets of Ulm, Albert Einstein's hometown, on the banks of the Danube River, with its half-timbered houses, its imposing church (Ulm Münster), the tallest in the world, connected to the city's central train station (Ulm Hauptbahnhof) by a lively pedestrian-only shopping street (Hirschstrasse). Ulm is not a major German or European metropolis. But despite this, it is a grand, bustling, and beautiful city on this little blue planet of ours.
