This is Aiden, 13. He was referred to Caudwell Youth when difficulties in his family life began to take a toll on his mental health.
He says: “Caudwell Youth gave me a different outlook on what was going on, and helped me sort out how I could help myself. It made me realise it’s not my fault.”
Each mentoring programme costs Caudwell Youth around £3,000 to run for up to 18 months. One individual mentoring session costs around £15.
The more funds we can raise this Christmas, the more at risk young people we will be able to support.
