On March 9th, 2024, 17-year-old Jarvon Coles was tragically murdered at a house party—leaving behind a grieving family, community, and future full of promise. Jarvon was more than a standout athlete; he was a straight-A student, a two-time First Team All-District linebacker, a member of the school choir, and a role model in his community. He spent his time tutoring classmates, volunteering with the Special Olympics, and inspiring everyone around him.

In this heartfelt interview, I sit down with Jarvon’s grandfather to talk about Jervon’s life, legacy, and the impact he made. We also discuss his grandfather’s life and the strength it takes to carry on after such a devastating loss.
