We camped 6 days in Panamint Valley at Ballarat with some friends and explored the area. We traveled Defense Mine Trail with Lookout City, Pleasant Canyon Loop, Goler Wash to visit Barker Ranch and the four Cabins in Butte Valley, Jackpot Canyon, Surprise Canyon, Darwin, Cerra Gordo and attempted the Salt Tram Trail. We explored old buildings, adopt-a-cabins, mines, ghost towns and even Charles Manson's hideout. In his video we travel Goler Wash and visit Ballarat, Manson's Hideout (Barker Ranch), Lotus Mining camp, Newman cabin, Geologist cabin, Emmitt Harder Cabin, Mengel Cabin, Russel Camp.
