Today I'm going to test the internet mob mentality theory that the LT1 optispark system is an unreliable, poorly designed piece of junk. Watch as I test two different abandoned LT1 Ram Air cars, a 1996 Trans Am and a 1997 Ram Air Formula that have been sitting for years to see if they will crank and start with nothing more than a fresh battery and a can of starting fluid.
