Written in 1838, Mendelssohn called this work a "wretched sonata" and remained uncompleted and unpublished when he died in 1847. It was not until 1953 that the great Yehudi Menuhin "completed" the revisions. Here is a performance by violinist Ning Kam and pianist Albert Tiu at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall in February 2015.
I. Allegro vivace - 0:00
II. Adagio - 11:28
III. Assai vivace - 18:31
