Salaw Machu Kroeung is a Cambodian national stew. This Cambodian main dish is a sweet, sour and spicy stew. It is a tasty Cambodian dish and a unique mixture of lemongrass, tumeric, galanga, kaffir lime leaves and other asian spices.
How to make the lemon grass paste:
Lemongrass Paste (Kreung)
50g Lemongrass
3g Kaffir lime leaf
40g whole garlic
15 g galanga, 1 teaspoon
Tumeric (1teaspoon)
( blend all or grind)
Ingredients:
-1 rack of ribs chopped in cubes
-Salt (2 table spoon)
-Sugar (2 table spoon)
-Asian Fish Sauce (4 table spoon)
-Msg Spice (1 tea spoon)
-Tamarind Spice ( 1 Package)
-Garlic ( 8 cloves)
-Banana Peppers (4 pcs)
-Asian green egg plant ( 10 cut in quarters)
-Celery ( 1 stock)
-Lemon Grass paste mix ( 4 heaping table spoons)
