This is a pre 1956 Unitron Model 152 telescope. This classic 100mm aperture scope shows many of the idiosyncrasies of a very early Unitron. Several of the attributes of this scope were quickly abandoned for very good reasons as explained in the video. It is relatively impractical telescope by modern standards that nevertheless captivates with its quirky and unique features. Many thanks to JW Stewart for rescuing this wonderful old telescope and doing a superb job on the preliminary restoration work.
