Lying in bed and hearing the rain thunder down on the roof doesn't sound like the most inspiring photography conditions. But I knew from experience that some of the best light comes either before or after a storm.
I decided to test my luck and head out into the wind and rain, to see if the old saying would be true on this dark and dingy morning.
I'm exclusively a Medium Format photographer, the Fuji GFX100 being my camera of choice. Wide and ultra-wide angle seascapes are my passion.
I specialise in large format print focussing on creating fine art images best viewed on a wall.
