Important note
Social media is abound with stories of long haulers who have crashed hard when attempting to fast. Don’t be one of them: consult your doctor first if you want to try it. Or do it under medical supervision at an expert clinic (like I did).
lecture over
In this second video of four, I discuss my experience of doing two extended fasts, three months apart. What actually happens when you go to fast somewhere? What are the logistics and practical considerations? Why is medical supervision and oversight important? And of course, how much weight do you actually lose?
In the next video I’ll discuss the difference it’s made to my symptoms, and in the final part what the lessons might be for others suffering with Long Covid and/or ME/CFS.
*Important note 2*:
I have no conflicts of interest in talking about this subject. See video @1'35"
