In this lecture, we'll be looking at a short but critical essay by Deleuze and Guattari on the May '68 "event" and its aftermath. We will also connect this to a few moments from "A Thousand Plateaus" where they elaborate on the relationship between history and radical change. This gives a good insight into the practical application of D&G's philosophy, as well as some political questions concerning the unity of historical moments, assemblages/agencies of enunciation, and the future of global politics. Enjoy!
This essay can be found in "Hatred of Capitalism" ed. Chris Kraus and Sylvere Lotringer, pp. 209-211, Semiotext(e), 2001.
