Just what the hell is a "Dolomite Prairie" and why do the plants that grow on it differ so much from surrounding landscape? Is the process through which dolomite is created really analogous to the baptism of an Italian Beef Sandwich in rich, high-cholesterol gravy? In this episode of CRIME PAYS, we will attempt to answer these questions. Guest appearance by the notorious Lakeside Daisy, #Tetraneuris herbacea (formerly Hymenoxys acaulis glabra). Many thanks to Al Scorch and Mark Kluge for help in producing this vid.
