Seven years on from 'Maidan': how did it start?

Today is seven years since the beginning of Euromaidan in Ukraine. During the protests, I managed to go to Kyiv four times, filming hundreds of shots and writing 29 posts on my blog.

At first, it resembled the ongoing protests in Belarus: peaceful rallies, isolated clashes with the police, and the expectation of the protest to subside. Nevertheless, despite the expectations, the situation was changing rapidly.
