A video on the basics of the IFR equipment fitted to our aircraft, including the receiver units (such as the GPS / GNSS unit, VOR and ADF), the types of indicators and the forms of integrity monitoring for the navaids during IFR flight.
The units shown in this video are the Garmin GTN650 GPS, and various VHF localisers.
I aim to make more videos for student general interest prior to starting their instrument rating course.
