Hello my lovely friends! I’m Firoozeh 💛
Welcome back to my channel and to another peaceful day in Iranian village life.
In today’s video, I’m sharing a very authentic part of rural living.
We start the morning by preparing Traditional Dandan Soup, a delicious Iranian dish made with chickpeas, red beans, white beans, wheat, barley, bulgur, and dried kashk. My niece Maryam helped me clean and prepare all the legumes — a beautiful moment of teamwork in village life.
While the soup was cooking on the wood fire, we began the first steps of making clay for a traditional bread oven (tanour). We emptied bags of soil, mixed it with straw, added water, and kneaded the mud with our feet until it became smooth. This clay must rest for three days and be kneaded again to become strong enough for building the oven.
This video is full of the calmness and charm of simple rural life, traditional cooking, and handmade craftsmanship.
I hope it brings warmth to your heart and lets you experience the beauty of our countryside culture.
