Road Recovery’s Rock-N-Ride 2024 Fundraiser to celebrate the charity’s 26-year anniversary will find Founder Gene Bowen cycling this September 2024 to various locations in New York and New Jersey to meet up with fellow members of the Board of Directors to capture on video their reflections and commitment to the non-profit’s vital mission of helping young people as they battle addiction and other adversities in their lives. Today, Gene Bowen cycles visits board member, Barry Honig, President & CEO at Honig International and TruckPay Inc. Barry speaks candidly about how growing up with visual impairment, raised by a mother who struggled with substance use disorder, created a dysfunctional family life. "Organizations like Road Recovery really help break the cycle by transforming darkness into light. People can start building families of their own," he shared.

Since 2008, Road Recovery’s annual Rock-N-Ride cycling campaign has provided a lifeline of financial support towards the charity’s mission of positively impacting the lives of our greatest asset, our YOUTH! The goal for the 16th annual ride builds on the success and enthusiasm of past events while celebrating the commitment of our Board of Directors!
