These are a non-native species and are often planted for their beautiful deep pink flowers and colourful berries.
There are approximately 280 different kinds of hawthorn throughout the world. The one in the video I believe to be is Crataegus laevigata 'Paul’s Scarlet' hawthorn.
It is much like our native Common Hawthorn in the way it grows, just that the flowers are pink rather than white.
