How to remove the Boot lid on a Peugeot 406 saloon.
In the video i start by removing the boot, then later take off the carpet and remove the wires. You should do this the other way around, and take the carpet off the inner boot lid with it still in place, then thread the wires out, this means they will not have to be cut.
The car i was working on here as you can see has been mostly stripped which obviously makes access to the boot lift struts and the bolts that the hinge pivots on. You will need to remove the rear seat side bolsters and parcel shelf to get to these parts, and you will be able to see how to do that here:

This might be helpful if your having issues with the boot not opening, or locking/unlocking, if you want to change the outer badge, or if your car has been involved in a bit of damage and the boot lid needs to be replaced. This car was hit on its rear quarter panel and the boot lid never closed, the hinges are also a bit bent so i removed them and put them into the scrap pile.
