Sugar free Date Pudding
Ingredients:-
• Dates 1 cup, deseeded
• Milk 1 Litre
• Corn flour 4 tbsp heaped
• Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
• Topping
• Dates 1-2
• Pistachio powder 1-2 tbsp
Method
• Heat 1 cup of milk from 1L of milk and add dates to it. Soak for 15-20 minutes until dates are soft.
• Add this to a blender alongwith rest of the milk and corn flour.
• Blend until smooth.
• Transfer to a pot and cook, stiring constantly, until thickened.
• Turn the flame off and add cardamom powder and mix.
• Transfer to a serving dish or individual bowls and top with date star and pistachio powder.
• Refrigerate until chilled. Serve chilled. Enjoy!
Potato Waffles
Ingredients:-
• Boiled potatoes 1/2 kg
• Oregano 1 tsp
• Garlic powder 1 tsp
• Onion powder 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Black pepper powder to taste
• Chili flakes to taste
• Butter 1 tbsp, grated
• Corn flour 1 tbsp
• Fresh cream 1 tbsp
Method
• Boil and mash potatoes. Add onions and coriander.
• Add all other ingredients and mix. Shape into balls.
• Grease waffle maker with oil and place balls on it. Alternatively, place on a grilled pan and press to make tikkis. Grill until golden. Serve with ketchup and enjoy!
