A Pitstop is a crucial element in motorsports. The same applies for simracing and therefore also Assetto Corsa Competizione. But how does one actually speed up or optimize rather a pitstop? This is exactly what is discussed and showcased in this very video.
First of all make sure to learn the pit-entry and pit-exit. Even though you might only use them once a race, a second or more can easily be gained if you actually take a moment to learn their own unique racing lines as well as seeking out braking references.
Second, you have to nail the stopping of your car by your pitcrew. If you do so, the game doesn't have to move you in a better spot but can instead instantly lift you up.
Lastly be sure to lose no time when disengaging the pit limiter. For this the MFD will give you a visual cue.
