It’s the feeling of watching planes leave the city,
thinking maybe the sky has answers the ground never gave you.
It’s about the heaviness we carry in silence,
the pain we pretend is “normal,”
and the hope that somewhere out there,
there’s a version of us that isn’t drowning.

This song came from a place of exhaustion —
the kind where you’re tired of fighting for air,
tired of pretending you’re fine,
tired of holding everything in because you don’t want to burden anyone.

But there’s still a part of me —
and maybe a part of you —
that hopes for something better.
