At Christmas, there is extra magic in the air, as the city centre is lit up with thousands of decorative lights, shop windows are bright and colourful, and Christmas market stalls offer all kinds of seasonal gifts, food and drink.
We filmed both during the bustling daytime, and then later in the evening when the crowds are gone. See for yourself just how beautiful the historic streets of York are at Christmas!
