TODAY'S SCRIPTURE | Exodus 35:4-10, 20-29

In Exodus 35, Moses and the community leaders raised funds and resources to build the tabernacle. God’s people gave generously and sacrificially, because they wanted to make space for more and more people to know God and experience his presence. This must be the ultimate motivation for generosity: creating more opportunities for people to encounter God, to grow in the gospel, to see suffering relieved, to see our city (and our world) renewed. We give so that others might experience God and the multi-faceted richness of the gospel.
