On 6 December 2025, we celebrated a remarkable milestone as 20 extraordinary women fundis graduated from the TAWAH VTC Training Centre for Women, marking the success of Cohort Four. This graduation was more than a ceremony it was a celebration of courage, ambition, and the transformative power of opportunity.
Among the many inspiring stories was Nasma Juma, whose journey perfectly embodies the spirit of TAWAH. Her mother, Mwanahamis Abadallah, expressed her joy and gratitude, saying that Nasma’s newly acquired construction and carpentry skills will be a tremendous support to the entire family. Her grandmother, Bibi Kirumbi, who brought her to the centre and also graduated from the same program, shared her pride and wisdom, reminding everyone that discipline is the key to success.
