30TH VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP SEMINAR – YOUTH IMPACT MOVEMENT (YIM)

The 30th Virtual Leadership Seminar organised by the Youth Impact Movement (YIM) was successfully held on Wednesday, 17th December 2025, at 6:00 PM prompt via Google Meet.

The seminar was themed “Mastering Parliamentary Language, Practice and Procedure,” and focused on equipping young leaders with in-depth knowledge of parliamentary systems, legislative processes, and the appropriate use of parliamentary language in formal governance and leadership settings.

The guest speaker for this milestone session was Lawyer Benjamin Tachie Antiedu, Esq., a renowned legal practitioner, author of three legal books, and Director of Legislation at the Parliament of Ghana. He delivered a rich and authoritative presentation, drawing on his vast professional experience to explain parliamentary decorum, procedural rules, legislative drafting, and effective participation in parliamentary proceedings.

The session was hosted by Mr. Jones Amegashie-Viglo, Executive Director of the Youth Impact Movement (YIM), who moderated discussions and facilitated participant engagement throughout the seminar.

The seminar attracted participants with keen interests in governance, law, public administration, and youth leadership, further reinforcing YIM’s commitment to nurturing informed, ethical, and competent young leaders.
